A Colorful World

It has been raining on and off for the past few days here in Sacramento. The one bright sight I saw today was a rainbow that appeared down my street close to sunset. I did not have my camera with me, and I rushed inside the house to get it. You can probably guess what happened next. By the time I went outside again, most of the rainbow vanished. All that was left of it was a fading pink streak.

To cheer myself up and hopefully other people stuck in dreary winter weather, I decided to do a post featuring colorful images. I am looking forward to spring coming next month and seeing more color in my part of the world.

Didn’t have any eggs to paint but I thought this bug might make up for it 🙂 Cotton farmers don’t like them though as they can be quite a pest.
