Today is the third and last day of my Post A Quote Challenge. As I have done for the past few days, I am extending an “open tag” for any bloggers out there to take on this challenge.
The following quote is by a Chinese philosopher named Lao Tzu:
“To the mind that is still, the whole universe surrenders.”
EmissionNebula NGC6357.jpg By NASA, ESA and Jesœs Maz Apellÿniz (Instituto de astrofsica de Andaluca, Spain). Acknowledgement: Davide De Martin (ESA/Hubble) [Public domain], via Wikimedia Commons The star cluster Pismis 24 lies in the core of the large emission nebula NGC 6357 that extends one degree on the sky in the direction of the Scorpius constellation. Part of the nebula is ionised by the youngest (bluest) heavy stars in Pismis 24. The intense ultraviolet radiation from the blazing stars heats the gas surrounding the cluster and creates a bubble in NGC 6357. The presence of these surrounding gas clouds makes probing into the region even harder. 19 December 2006 Source: http://www.spacetelescope.org/images/html/heic0619a.html
I hope that you enjoyed reading these quotes over the past three days and learned something from them. 🙂
