Reflections

water reflection photo

Our pain, struggle, and strife
A small stirring
In the flow of life
Our existence
A constant
Rise and fall
Of miniscule moments
That disappear
Quickly submerged
In the universe’s fluid eons . . .
When time and death
Wash away
All we know
All we do
All we love
Does it matter
If we leave
This world
With a rocky heart
Or a soul of gold?

          1. I am pleased that you have read my latest post Arlene. Personally, I am not worried about the neighbours slating me. What I am really upset about is that they focus all their nastiness onto Toni who is hard-working, gentle and kind. I am praying that karma really comes back onto them. We will see what happens next.
I hope that you and your dad are okay and have a lovely weekend. 🙂 x

          2. It does not sound like your neighbors have much of a case, but it must be frustrating for you, Toni, and Pedro to have to waste your time and energy putting up with their terrible behavior. I hope things will get better for the three of you.

My dad and I are doing okay for now. I am not sure what will happen in my life next. Things seem uncertain and unsettled for me at the moment.

I hope you have a wonderful weekend too, Ralph. 🙂

          3. I agree. I think they are really shooting themselves in the foot with this denuncia. All we can do is carry on with our lives as normal and let the police deal with it.
I am so pleased to read that you and your dad are doing okay for the moment Arlene. Usually when things are uncertain and unsettling it usually means that change is on the way, hopefully for the good. Good luck with whatever the direction it takes you.
            Take care my friend. xx

          4. Yes, carrying on the best that you can is a good idea. As you said, they could get in trouble for filing charges without adequate evidence.

I hope things will change for the better, but it does not seem like many of the changes are moving in a positive direction at the moment. Thanks for the good luck wishes. I am going to need them.

Take care of yourself too, Ralph. I am sorry that it has taken me so long to reply to your response. At least I was finally able to email you this week.

          5. Thank you for letting me know you received my email, Ralph. Lately it has taken me ages to reply to your emails, so I do not mind if you need more time to respond as well. I hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend, my friend. 🙂
