Spooky Cemeteries

As Halloween approaches, we enter a season of death and decay, so it seems fitting that our attention is drawn toward a place where the living and the dead converge – the cemetery.

Abandoned Cemeteries

Even during the day, these photos of abandoned cemeteries are unsettling.

In the shade of St Botolph’s Church. In this northern, shady section of the churchyard the sun, blocked by the church, does not reach: after a wintry, windy night grass and gravestones are still encrusted with snow and ice. Only one cross-shaped headstone has managed to shed its icy coat and stands out in black among the surrounding white.

    1. I am glad that you enjoyed my post. My inspiration for this post is Halloween. I usually write blog posts about a topic related to Halloween in October. Last October, I wrote about some creepy islands. 🙂

Thank you for liking my post and taking the time to leave a nice comment. I am sorry that it took awhile for me to respond to you. This was partly due to your comment ending up in my spam filter. I am glad that I found it. 🙂
