I recently earned an AS degree in Graphic Communication from Sacramento City College. I am currently working as a part-time graphic designer and webmaster assistant for a nonprofit organization, but I hope to do more freelance graphic design and illustration work in the future.

This blog began as a class assignment for one of my graphic design classes. At first I thought my blog would be only about graphic design and web design, but then I noticed how people kept visiting my blog for a post about a WordPress related topic. In response, I started writing more posts about different features of WordPress and how to use them.

Lately, I have really strayed away from posting WordPress tips. Now I mainly blog about topics that reflect my attraction to the weird and the wonderful. I enjoy writing posts about beautiful places, odd curiosities, interesting natural phenomena, and other unusual topics. For me, this blog has become a way to explore things and places that I do not normally see in my everyday life. I guess you can say that I am an armchair tourist. A nice fringe benefit of working on this blog is connecting with people who like to do the same thing. 🙂

As if I do not have enough to do, I have two other blogs besides this one. Imagine New Designs Gallery is my online graphic design portfolio. Recently, I also started a fantasy art blog called Moonlight Gallery.

This blog is still evolving, and I may possibly reorganize my posts in the future.
